Mann Ki Baat: Modi-Obama to jointly address nation through radio show?

So far we have only heard Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the nation on Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio. But next time the "Mann Ki Baat" programme will be jointly addressed by PM Modi and US President Barack Obama. During his visit to in September, Narendra Modi penned a joint op-ed along with US President in the Washington Post.

Modi has been communicating to the masses through his "Mann Ki Baat" programme and as per TOI report, "Ahead of Obama's visit here this weekend, efforts are on to see whether the two leaders can do a joint radio address." Barack Obama, who has been invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be a part of the Republic Day celebrations will arrive in the early hours of Jan 25. This will be Obama's second visit to India. His first trip was in 2010. Obama is expected to arrive on January 25.
He will be in the Rashtrapati Bhavan followed by a visit to the Rajghat on the first day of his vist. Obama will then proceed to Hyderabad House for a meeting with Modi and is also expected to meet India-US CEO Forum the same day. After using technology successfully in their respective election campaigns, US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time interacted digitally to come out with a joint editorial.
Officials on both sides have been very secretive about the joint op-ed and have not even disclosed the name of the newspaper that will publish it. This was for the first time that an Indian leader has ventured on the path of a joint editorial. Prime Minister wrote an editorial in Wall Street Journal before he headed to the US for his first visit since taking power in May.
